About me

I am Evelyn, but everyone calls me Lyn – a nickname that has now become my brand. Lyn’s Kitchen is the realization of my dream: my own little kitchen lab.

Cooking, and especially cooking for others, has always been a passion of mine. Over the course of my life, I have discovered that cooking and eating are incredibly valuable – they not only influence our physical health but also our emotional well-being and our social relationships. Food is a wonderful way to connect and share people, stories, and emotions.

While studying social pedagogy in Vienna, I co-founded a community kitchen with friends and cooked at various festivals. Back in South Tyrol, my kitchen became a gathering place for special dinners with friends, and I had the chance to get creative at birthday parties, graduation celebrations, and other events.

I have been living a vegetarian lifestyle for over 20 years, and I love showing people how diverse and flavorful healthy eating can be. My motto is: “If you’re going to do it, do it right” – and you can taste it in every dish. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone close their eyes in delight while eating because the flavor is so overwhelming that they can’t help but show enjoyment and joy.

For me, cooking is a craft with endless possibilities. I love experimenting with spices and continually creating new, surprising flavor experiences. In my kitchen, I prepare everything from relaxed lunches for the workday to unique finger food creations and catering menus. Whether it’s a small lunch break or a big celebration – I love it when the food not only satisfies but also brings happiness. When it’s not only healthy but also fancy. When it’s not only energizing but also exciting.
